So I am ashamed to say the previous post was made only 5 days short of a month ago. But I know you’ll forgive me once you get a load of this loaded post. I have for you 93 photos and 11 movies, along with comments and stories to go with them!!!

You didn’t think I wouldn’t at least TRY to make it up to you, right?

So a lot can happen in a month! Here are the highlights in order of date, not importance :-) :

1. Saw Colin Mochrie and Brad Sherwood improv at Massey Hall.

2. Vicki and Steve’s 30th anniversary and family photos at Teen Ranch.

3. Jenny and Nate finally came over for a visit! (Jenny is a beautiful pregnant woman!!)

4. Bryan and Erika moved home to ONTARIO!!!

5. Went out for drinks with Chris and Lisa Rayner.

6. BREE AND ZOE CAME TO VISIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

7. Thanksgiving dinners…. mmmmmm. Our neighbours Rob and Sara & family joined us for their first Canadian Thanksgiving.

8. Narrated a book recording for an ARROW course John McAuley is teaching.

9. Kylah’s temporary doctor called her underweight and was concerned with her physical development at her 6 month appointment because she doesn’t know how to work a scale or tape measure… you’d think that would be standard knowledge for a freaking doctor.

10. Aunt Marg’s 60th birthday party!

11. The first of many (hopefully) no-money (also hopefully) poker nights.

So that’s all the stuff that happened. Most of the stuff is covered in the photos and videos, so enjoy!!

The first video is an improv that Brad Sherwood and Colin Mochrie did at Massey Hall. Brad’s words: “This game is so dangerous, it has its own theme song,” as music played in the background. Then out come 100 live mouse traps placed all over the stage. Brad and Colin proceded to take off their shoes and socks and put on blindfolds. The game was “The Alphabet Game” where the next thing you say has to start with the next letter in the alphabet. But it doesn’t end there – the scenario was “Sweeping the Kitchen”, and they had to do it in the style of “Opera”. So to recap, they played the alphabet game in the style of opera while sweeping the kitchen floor with 100 live mousetraps in their bare feet… anything for a laugh :-) . Needless to say it was one of the funniest things I have ever experienced:

This is a video of Abbey running. It sounds simple enough, but I bet you will be thinking of Ewoks when you watch it.

This video took place the same day as Abbey running. It took place at the picnic we did for Vicki and Steve’s 30th anniversary. Dave dropped a rhyme for them that was pretty good for a white boy.

And this is Kylah eating… well, spitting…

This is Laura moving Kylah down the slide after the amazing Thanksgiving dinner at mom’s house.

When Bree and Zoe came to visit, we went to Starbucks since Bree has an employee card and gets a sweet discount. By the way, next time you go to Starbucks, try one of these Bree specials: Grande 4-pump white mocha Americano, OR, Grande 2-pump caramel 2-pump white mocha with caramel drizzel on top syrup cream frappaccino blended cream(ridiculous name, but hey it is good). Zoe was so funny in the store – she went around picking up all the coffees and smelled them, then restocked the shelf in perfect order. Too cute. The manager came out and offered her a job in quality control :-)

Zoe in Starbucks again – same visit. This time after sniffing some more coffee she decided to visit with the nice ladies at thetable next to ours. Haha they probably thought they would have a nice peaceful coffee at Starbucks… didn’t count on Zoe!!

At Aunt Marg’s 60th birthday celebration, my cousin Kim (daughter to Marg) was there and met Kylah for the first time. She called Salt Lake City ‘home’, but travelled the world as a nurse, and now is moving to New York City!! It was really great to see her!

We took Bree and Zoe to the airport on Monday and decided to go in with them to say goodbye. Turns out it was a necessity due to the wide-open space and the almost 2-year-old :-) . Laura decided to pass the time by spinning.

Airport again. Zoe wanted one last hurrah at giving Kylah her soother. You’ll have to watch to see if she got it…

Last but not least is Kylah in her awesome exersaucer (thanks again to the ladies at Muskoka Woods Resort). Everyone sing with me, “Just keep spinning, just keep spinning, just keep spinning, spin spin, what do we do we spin spin…”

So there you go – 93 photos and 11 videos later. I hope you aren’t disappointed!
